Sugarex Thailand and Agri Expo Thailand 2026 Open in Khon Kaen, Bringing Agriculture and Sugar Industry Technologies Together
300+ brands from over 15 countries showcase technologies across more than 6,000 sqm, supporting greater production efficiency and the future of agriculture.
KHON KAEN, Thailand, 10 September 2026 – Sugarex Thailand and Agri Expo Thailand 2026 officially opened today at the Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Center (KICE), bringing together more than 300 brands from over 15 countries across 6,000+ sqm of exhibition space. The two-day event, held on 10–11 September 2026, is expected to welcome more than 4,000 visitors from the sugar, bioethanol, industrial and agricultural sectors.
This year’s event comes as the sugarcane, sugar and agricultural sectors continue to focus on key challenges including production costs, labour, operational efficiency, feedstock management, and more efficient use of energy and resources. Machinery, automation, digital manufacturing and precision agriculture are playing an increasingly important role in improving productivity and competitiveness.
The exhibition brings together technology manufacturers and solution providers from Thailand and international markets, including FLENDER, Samart Kasetyon Co., Ltd., SE Analytiks Co., Ltd., Schneider Electric, TN Group Corporation PCL. and TotalEnergies. Exhibitors come from Thailand, Singapore, China, India, Germany, Türkiye, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Russia, Austria, Japan, Malaysia and other markets.

Two Technology Platforms Connecting Agriculture and Industry
Sugarex Thailand 2026 focuses on technologies across the sugarcane, sugar and bioethanol value chain. Exhibits cover sugarcane machinery and harvesting technologies, sugar processing equipment, instrumentation and control systems, automation and smart factory solutions, data and energy management, as well as technologies for ethanol, bioenergy and resource efficiency.
Co-located Agri Expo Thailand 2026 presents agricultural machinery, technologies and innovations for five key crops: sugarcane, rice, cassava, corn and oil palm. The exhibition covers cultivation, farm machinery, field management and harvesting, as well as smart farming and precision agriculture solutions designed to improve farm productivity and operational efficiency.
Together, the two exhibitions give visitors access to technologies spanning field operations, machinery and harvesting through to processing, factory systems, energy and downstream applications, while providing opportunities to meet technology suppliers and specialists directly.

These technology trends are further explored through the Sugar & Agriculture Tech Talk, with sessions covering Smart Manufacturing and Energy Management, Smart Sensors, Precision Agriculture, the application of UAV imagery and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy across the sugarcane value chain, sustainable sugarcane production and sugarcane varieties under changing climate conditions.
The Thailand Sugar Conference 2026, held under the theme “Sugar & Ethanol Asia: Technology, Innovation and Pathways to a Sustainable Future,” provides a platform for industry experts to discuss the future of the sugar and ethanol sectors, technology and innovation, as well as key issues including sugar price volatility, rising production costs and limited cane supply. Conference participation is subject to a separate registration fee.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Prachuap RakPheat, Vice Governor of Khon Kaen Province; Mr. Sitthirong Reng-nglab, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Cane and Sugar Board; Dr. Somsak Vivithkeyoonvong, Director of Khon Kaen Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives; and Mr. Kenny Yong, CEO of Fireworks Media Group Thailand.
